Push-to-Talk Product Development/Management

Client Situation / Objective
  • Our client wanted to launch push-to-talk service on select smart phones in order to capture a larger portion of the potential business market.
Constratus Approach and Objectives
  • Lead the product management effort, including evaluation of the device roadmap, coordination with the device marketing team to identify the optimal device for launch of the service, and development of requirements.
  • Define the requirements, project scope, vendor evaluation, device road-mapping, project coordination, acceptance testing and launch planning.
Results
  • The client deployed the push-to-talk service on two mobile devices resulting in more than 30% of the market share of PTT devices within 9 months. This was the most successful launch of push-to-talk services on a device.
