Widget Product Management

Client Situation / Objective

• As part of a company initiative, our client planned to roll-out a widget offering targeted at the web developer community to help increase application adoption across the existing user base.

Constratus Approach and Objectives

• Support the client product management team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide MSR documentation, project coordination and reporting, developer coordination, widget sourcing, widget platform testing and widget testing and launch planning.
• Participate in customer work stream meetings and workshops, lead work streams, and shape widget platform requirements.

Results

• The client went live with widgets on two mobile OS platforms and 5 devices on schedule.
• Response to widget development from web developer community has been encouraging given the ease of portability across platforms.
